The park's topography has created a variety of plant habitats - swamps, heaths and scrubs, shrubby woodlands/forests and open woodlands/forests. These habitats support a large diversity of plant species, some of which are quite rare and endangered.

Not every plant has flowers. Towering above are the conifers – or pines – and below them, cycads, velvety mosses and lacy ferns grace the park with their delicate beauty.
