North End Golden Gate Bridge - Photo 9 of 9 The information kiosk here is quite small. Beyond it are the dry hills of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, which covers much of the area west of the bridge and Highway 101. The dryness of the land here was a startling contrast to the lush gardens and damp fog of the southern end. |
